My name is Martine and I’m a mixed media artist. I live currently by the sea in North Yorkshire, UK.

I’m originally from Luxembourg, where I worked as a history teacher at a secondary school for 15 years. In July 2016, I moved with my sister Stéphanie, our two dogs and two cats to a tiny village just outside of Scarborough on the North Yorkshire coast.

I would describe my art as being playful, raw and unpretentious. My visual language moves back and forward between figuration and abstraction and the main aim is to invite the viewer to imagine a narrative.
